History of our District are very long and dynamic for past few years. Before the Second World War Rotarians in Serbia were belong to District 77 (the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes).
Development of Rotary movement at the beginning of the 1990. Rotarians first belong to District 1910 (South Austria and ex-Republic of Yugoslavia). Next few years we overpass in Special Extension Area (SEA). After cancellation of SEA we belong to District 2480 –North Greece in which come Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Isolation of Bulgaria bring in two part of the same District, 2481 and 2482.
Today we are in District 2483 that consists of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo (under UNMIK regulation).

Coordinator for District Governer for Serbia and Montenegro is Vesna Baltezarević who organize work for assistant District Governer for every club.
Our District according to present information include 97 clubs, 39 in Serbia. Changes are daily, because few clubs, who are in a process of foundation, expect Charter celebration and a few initial groups are in a process of registration. Rotary International are separate in 34 zones, and we belong to Zone 20.
