Partner’s Night

Rotary Club Beograd Metropolitan organised the Partner’s Night on December 27, 2011, attended by numerous guests, friends from other Rotary Clubs, and followers. Davor Papac, Club President 2011/12, held an impressive speech, presenting the implemented campaigns and announcing future activities of the Club, and then granted the Paul Harris honorary badge to Nikola Mitić. A new member of Rotary Club Beograd Metropolitan, Olivera Stanić, was presented at the event, and received a Club badge and flag. Activities of Rotary Club Beograd Metropolitan were commended by Nikola Obradović, District 2483 Governor in 2012/13, who promoted the plan of his further activities related to the advancement of the District 2483. The socialising was then continued in a pleasant atmosphere of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, with the A-Tempo acoustic string quartet (2 violins, viola and double bass), who performed popular music themes from various genres with attractive arrangements. The next big event of Rotary Club Beograd Metropolitan will be the Charter celebration, when an auction of artworks of renowned Serbian painter, academic and professor Ljubica Cuca Sokić will be held.

Rotari Klub Beograd Metropolitan organizovao je 27. decembra 2011. godine Partner's Night kojem je prisustvovao veliki broj zvanica, prijatelja iz drugih Rotari klubova, kao i poštovalaca našeg Kluba. Tom prilikom Davor Papac, Predsednik 2011/12, održao je zapažen govor u kojem je istakao finalizovane akcije i najavio buduće aktivnost Kluba, a zatim svečano uručio počasnu značku Pol Haris našem Nikoli Mitiću. Ujedno, svečano je promovisana i nova članica Rotari Kluba Beograd Metropolitan Olivera Stanić, kojoj su uručene značka i zastavica Kluba. Rad Rotari Kluba Beograd Metropolitan posebno je pohvalio Nikola Obradović, Guverner Distrikta 2483 za 2012/13, koji je promovisao plan svojih daljih aktivnosti na unapređenju Distrikta 2483. Druženje je zatim nastavljeno u prijatnoj atmosferi hotela Hyatt Regency uz akustični gudački kvartet A-Tempo (2 violine, viola i kontrabas) koji su izveli poznate muzičke teme iz različitih žanrova u zanimljivom aranžmanu. Sledeće veliko druženje Rotari Klub Beograd Metropolitan organizovaće povodom svoje Charter proslave, kada će biti upriličena aukcija radova čuvene srpske slikarke, akademika i profesora Ljubice Cuce Sokić.
